Format for 2017 Micro Short Track Nationals

Micro Short Track Nationals at ECS Format
Thursday 10/5 Practice Night Gates open at 4pm

Friday 10/6 DAY 1 Driver sign in 2pm to 6pm Hot Laps at 7pm
ONE heat 10 laps with 8 – 10 Cars depending on total car count.
Lined up is straight up by draw.
Top 10 in POINTS straight to Preliminary “A”
Lined up is Straight up by total points (draw is tie breaker) 20 laps.
2 – 15 lap preliminary B mains based on number of cars straight up by points
(draw is tie breaker)
Top 4 from each B to the tail of the “A”
B1 inside and B2 out side

Saturday 10/7 DAY 2 Driver sign in 2pm to 6pm Hot Laps at 7pm
TOP 6 IN POINT FROM FRIDAY LOCKED INTO THE “A” MAIN
TOP 6 FROM FRIDAY WILL RUN A 6 LAP DASH, FINISH TO LINE UP FIRST 3 ROWS OF THE “A” MAIN EVENT –
“A” Main will be 18 cars – 35 laps

REDRAW SATURDAY
ONE heat 10 laps with 8 – 10 Cars depending on total car count.
Lined up is straight up by draw.
Top 4 in point to the “A” starting 5 – 10. (draw is tie breaker)
Top 4 from each “B” to the tail of the “A”
B1 inside and B2 outside

FYI FOR ALL PARTICIPATES

• You must take the green flag to be considered a starter
  *All points are calculated by line-up position
• You must take the green flag to collect points for ANY race.
• If any Car(s) brings out a yellow on the START of a Race that Car(s) will be sent to the back on the lineup on the restart. *No Car(s) will be charged a YELLOW on the Initial START of a race if they are the cause of the Yellow - After 1 lap complete any yellow will be charged to the all Car(s) involved.
• At ECS if you are charged with 2-Yellows ( you will be SENT to the infield. - In other words on your 2nd yellow you are done with that race.
  Raceceiver channel 454.000 -***Raceceivers are for one way communication from the track official only.
  We do not allow communication between the driver and crew during a race
  **Sportsmanship is HUGE at ECS
  ** Do not enter the scoring tower at anytime - You will be DQ'd
  **PitPasses are required at all times to enter the Pit area- Driver maybe DQ'd if crew does not have pit passes visible

ALCOHOL BEVERAGES

1. Alcohol beverages are not allowed in the pit area. During the RACE Program
2. Anyone observed drinking any type of alcohol during the race program will be disqualified.
3. You are responsible for your pit crew members. If a member of your pit crew is observed drinking alcohol you will be disqualified.
